I got it out of the wrapper and shaved my whole arm in 3 strokes of the knife and was sold at the sharpness of this little baby...great knife for kids coz of the finger guard too. awesome bang for buck, plus it strikers a mad set of sparks from my ferro rod with the spine...I'm guessing thats why they keep it rough and don't finish it because it works so well for throwing a spark.
